Bernard McCullagh lives in Portstewart, a beautiful seaside town on the windswept north Antrim coast of Ireland.
His paintings feel instinctively like the places they represent on the rugged and infamously breathtaking areas of natural beauty which are home to the Giants Causeway and the renowned Game of Thrones locations on the most northerly Irish coastline.
Bernard expresses this through a combination of colours, layers, textures and tones.
As a landscape and seascape artist he continues to assert a sense of distinct identity through his unique style which he creatively captures in his paintings.
